Git with multiple accounts

I maintain several Git accounts — one for work, and several more for personal use, where I can try out new things. Some of my accounts run on Bitbucket, and others use Github. I end up using the same laptop to access many of these accounts. Even though I have done this several times, I keep forgetting the exact steps to ensure I keep each of my repositories areas synchronized with the right Git account.
